How to make gooseberry oil at home

  • Take one cup of fresh gooseberries.
  • Remove the seeds from fresh gooseberries and cut them into small pieces.
  • Grind them in a mixer without adding water.
  • Strain the gooseberries and keep the juice in a bowl.
  • In a pan, boil this juice and one cup of coconut oil
  • After 10-15 minutes, the sizzle will stop and the water would have evaporated.
  • The Brown color paste will settle down in a pan.
  • Switch off the flame and allow it to cool.
  • Strain the mixture.
  • You can apply this to your hair 20 minutes before you wash your hair to get shiny, lustrous and bouncy locks.

Gooseberry is used in various ways. The best way to take it with the least loss of Vitamin C. So, you can eat it raw with a little salt. It is often used in the form of pickles and marmalade. Gooseberries can be preserved for a long period when it is dried and powdered. You can also use it as a vegetable by boiling in a small amount of water until soft and take with little salt.

Wow! I will be trying this for my diabetes and let you know how it goes! My left eye has been affected by it, so hopefully this will work for both!

Hi Apoorva! I have to say that I know a lot about berries but don’t know much about gooseberries. I see they have many benefits and since I have diabetes I want to try them. Gooseberries can be consumed for many different health issues.
